I am licensed in the State of Tennessee and my primary area of operation includes Nashville and surrounding areas. I am a member of the United States District Courts for the Western District, Middle District, and Eastern District, as well as the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. I am also licensed by the United States Supreme Court, and have litigated cases in Kentucky, Georgia, and North Carolina.
I have handled a range of personal injury cases, including car accidents, commercial trucking accidents, slip and falls, premises security liability, premises liability, assault and battery, and medical malpractice.
The length of a case will depend on a variety of factors, including the nature of the claim and the court in which it must be brought. A general sessions case can for damages under $25,000, for example, might be filed, served, and concluded in two months. More complex cases typically involve case management orders, which will have set deadlines agreed upon by the parties in your case and the order will provide an idea of how long your case will take until the trial date. However, a trial does not always end a case because either party can file an appeal as a matter of right.
